I was in my kitchen working on cleaning up the dishes when I heard the music. I love music, but some music speaks to me more than others. This music happened to come from the upstairs room and a melodious sound was coming from the piano. As I stood in front of the sink listening, I also heard a male voice singing, "I need thee, oh, I need thee, every hour I need thee........." Praise and worship was flowing out of my sixteen year old son and I could immediately sense God's presence in my home. Wow!!!! What a privilege for me to listen to my own child, or should I say God's gift to me, and hear praise and worship and an acknowledgement that my son needs the holy, living, almighty God. Praise and worship is catchy, soon my daughter was singing the song and I started singing it too. Now we all are acknowledging our need for God. I hope I will never forget the impact of just one voice has on me. Just one voice brought me to the realization of my need for my Father! I serve a truly amazing God and I do need Him - thank you Lord for speaking to me and helping me to have an intimate time of discovery!

I Need Thee!
