O Lord, You have searched me and known me......

A common Chinese saying goes, "The net of Heaven is vast but loose, yet nothing can escape from it." According to Psalm 139:1-6 , the Lord has searched us and known us, He knows when we sit down and when we rise, He understands our thoughts from afar, He scrutinizes our path and our lying down, He is intimately acquainted with ALL our ways, He even knows the words we are planning to form on our lips. Wow! Talk about intimacy, our Lord is all over our business. He knows our name, and not just our name, but oh, so much more! The Lord is intimate with His children. He knows us before we even know and understand our own self. Such understanding of the all knowing God is almost too wonderful for us. Not even our husbands/wives can know us as well as our Lord knows us. We think this or that problem is too difficult for us, so therefore, it must be too difficult for our Lord, too! This is an untruth. The Bible says He is intimately acquainted with ALL our ways! No problem is too big, no difficulties is too big, nothing is too hard for God! Let's take our struggle and put it into perspective. The Lord already knows our struggle, He has anticipated our words we were planning on our lips. Guess what? We haven't even said them yet and He already knows how we feel about them. Imagine serving a God like this! Nothing will surprise Him. No, we do not have a completely private life. We can't hide from the Lord. Let's quit trying to control God and allow His spirit to fill us up. Let's let God in and begin to reciprocate back to God the intimacy He has shown us on a regular basis. Besides, it says in this passage we will not be able to attain to His great knowledge so lets revere Him and allow the Holy Spirit to walk and talk with us every day. In Jeremiah 23:23-24 it says, "'Am I a God who is near?' declares the Lord, 'and not a God far off? Can a man hide himself in hiding places so I do not see him?' declares the Lord. 'Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?' declares the Lord." Let's let go of our struggles and let God!
